In 2019, Mitchell’s Backyard Brewery began winning awards for its beer at an Asia-wide level. The Asia Beer Championship is an annual beer competition organized by the team of SEABrew and features blind taste testing by expert beer tasters. Our American Sunrise Pale Ale won a silver medal in 2019 for the coveted pale ale category, letting us know that we were on the right track on beer quality at the regional level. Building on this momentum, at the 2020 Asia Beer Championship we won a gold medal for our mocha stout and a chairman’s selection award for both our Backyard Harmony IPA and American Sunrise Pale Ale
